The American Cowboy Academy has transcended 4 states since its inception. The American Cowboy Academy is located in Colorado. We operated in Colorado in 2024 and will continue in 2025.
The ACA began as a dream in the mountains of Western Montana. Prior to a website or social media, the ACA operated in unison with a cattle/ guest ranch in Kalispell, MT. There, the first students received training in all of the aspects that the academy teaches today.
In 2023, we partnered with a facility in Texas. Over 30 students trained in the disciplines of Horsemanship and Ranching.

In April, we will begin operations in the beautiful scenery of Western Colorado.
